Renovate your Centre; your spiritual heart!

This Summer, we plan to renovate the MEC, including installing a new mihrab and masjid lighting, updating carpets and adding a modern wudhu area and toilets. Be part of the renovation project and build your own palace in the akhirah.

Muslim Education Centre and Welfare Trust (MECAWT) was established in 1999 in response to the needs of providing authentic Islamic education to the local community of High Wycombe. Since it’s inception, MECAWT has flourished increasing in size and offering key services to the community such as Islamic guidance and literature, advice, counselling, a bookshop and a place for worshipers to fulfill their five daily prayers

Be a pillar of MEC!

As energy prices soar and the economy becomes increasingly uncertain, our centre faces the challenge of covering its basic operating expenses. We are looking for 100 supporters or ‘Pillars’ to donate £15 per month to help secure and take care of the future of the centre and ensure that we are always able to provide for our community. This is a unique opportunity for our community to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others; all whilst having a share in the reward of all the activities that take place at the MEC.

Our beloved Prophet ﷺ said:

The most beloved of deeds to Allah ﷻ are those that are consistent even if they (the deeds) are small.

Our Services

Today in the modern world, a masjid plays an increasingly vital role in strengthening the spiritual connection between the creation and the creator; a role that is as important as Madinah was to Islam. Realising the great importance of this, MECAWT strives to empower the local community through providing a wide range of services enriched with Islamic values.

“Who will give Allah a beautiful loan and it will be multiplied for him many fold”

(Surah al-Baqarah 2:245)

Invest in your dunya and ākhirah by investing in your masjid. Support your local centre by donating. May Allah s.w.a reward you immensely, Amīn.
